Our Wood Carvings come from skilled and talented Carvers from Shandai Pamwe Art Village located in Avondale in the capital city Harare. The art village was started in the early 1980’s. The name Shandai Pamwe means Working Together. Artists from all walks of life work and exhibit their work there. Apart from the Wood carvings we also buy Paintings and Art Frames. However their gallery is not limited to that, they also do Stone Sculptures, Metal Art, Wire Art, Textiles and Baskets and in the near future we will be stocking our gallery with these Art as well.

The Wood Carvings are made Ironwood, Ebony, Pterocarpus angolensis tree (bleedwood) – locally know as mubvamaropa because of the dark red, sticky sap that comes when the bark is cut.
